President and Founder
A leader and entrepreneur at heart all his life, Alvin studied business marketing at the University of New Orleans.
He later completed training with the electrician’s Local Union#130 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and has worked as a journeyman electrician in New Orleans, LA for the past twenty-five years.
During this time, he also nurtured his true passion - music - which has been an integral part of his life for the past thirty years..
An international entertainer, Al Ancar's style is reflective of the smooth sounds of the Motown era. Incorporating the glitz and highly stylized showmanship of Vegas, this world-class entertainer dazzles his audience; captivating and holding them spellbound with his electrifying stage presence, while leaving them swooning and demanding more at the end of each performance.
When asked what inspired him to form A.J.A. Community Services, Inc., Al responded, "Having worked in the music business for so many years, I saw the need to give back to the community by bringing quality entertainment to those who would otherwise be unable to attend a concert. Also, the need to keep our roster of multi-talented entertainers gainfully employed is crucial to the preservation of the culture of the music industry as we know it."

In March 2006, AJA Community Services, Inc. (AJACSI) was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.
The Arts & Culture Division focuses on delivering the healing powers of music to the elderly and youth, who are unable to attend live performances on their own, thus enhancing their overall quality of life. Our target audiences are residents of senior citizen centers, childrens' hospitals, domestic violence centers, and homeless shelters.
The Electrical Construction Division provides classes designed to arm students with technical knowledge that will, upon completion, enable them to embark on a viable career in electrical construction.
